Julie — eyelash extension specialist at PYARA

Specialist Julie

Our wonderful specialist Julie is the finest expert for permanent eyelash extensions using the lash-by-lash method, as well as the volume method and others she has mastered. She has been doing this for more than 15 years and was among the first at X-treme Lashes to take an interest in this extension method. When booking, it is best to let her recommend which style and method would suit you best — based on the shape of your eyes she will recommend the most suitable extension method tailored just for you.

Hypoallergenic & gentle

Permanent eyelashes

They do not weigh down your own lashes and are resistant to water, tears, sweat and bad weather. They have hypoallergenic properties.

What you should know before the application

Your lashes must be perfectly cleansed of make-up and free of any make-up for at least 8 hours.

What you should do after the application

For at least 24 hours after the application do not shower, wash your eyes or swim, and for 48 hours avoid contact with steam (sauna), because the adhesive needs time to dry completely and last as long as possible. Avoid rubbing your eyes excessively and pulling at the lashes. Do not use mechanical lash curlers. Mascara is not necessary, but if you insist on it, use only a water-soluble mascara — never waterproof.

How long do extended lashes last?

Natural lashes fall out roughly every 90 days and are naturally replaced by new ones. Permanent lashes continue to grow together with your natural lashes, so for a perfect look a refill of the grown-out lashes is needed every 3–5 weeks. With regular refills the extensions can be worn continuously, as they do not burden your own lashes. Alternatively, you can let the lashes grow out completely and then have a new set applied.

How long does the application take?

The first application of a new set takes approximately 2–2.5 hours, depending on the number of lashes applied. A subsequent refill takes approximately 1–1.5 hours.
